Honolulu Community College, located in the heart of Honolulu, offers a wide array of academic programs. Students can choose from 27 different degrees and 39 different academic certificates from 24 programs that include, along with liberal arts, a broad range of career and technical education.

The Electrical Maintenance and Installation Technology Program at Honolulu Community College. This program is all-inclusive, fulfilling the requirements for entry level positions in the electrical field; provides technical knowledge needed as well as the necessary hands-on skills that define self confidence and success. Emphasis is placed on wiring in accordance with the provisions contained in the National Electrical Code.
School officials said it happened at the bus stop near Costco, and allegedly involved a man who is homeless and known to frequent the area.

Honolulu Community College Carpentry Technology Class - Fall 2014 to Spring 2016 - Associate's Degree, 2-year program includes Carpentry Basics, Concrete Formwork, Rough Framing and Finish Carpentry. The only accredited degree program for carpentry on the island of Oahu.

The Commercial Aviation program at Honolulu Community College. This is a five-semester program of study that prepares students for careers as a pilot, including charter and tour services, cargo and transport services, and flight instruction.
The Music and Entertainment Learning Experience program at Honolulu Community College. MELE utilizes a comprehensive music business and production curriculum meeting the requirements for entry-level training of music industry and production professionals. The curriculum focuses on combining academic experience with real-world applications to prepare students to work in the rapidly evolving global music industry of the 21st century.
The Aeronautics Maintenance Technology program at Honolulu Community College is designed to prepare individuals for Federal Aviation Administration certification as aircraft Airframe and Powerplant mechanics. Students in this program obtain knowledge and practical applications in such areas as hydraulics, sheet metal, electrical installation and troubleshooting, welding, the use of hand power tools, engine theory, troubleshooting and repair. The Aeronautics Maintenance Department is an approved aviation maintenance technician training facility operating under Federal Aviation Administration Air Agency with Airframe, Powerplant and combined Airframe and Powerplant ratings. It is the only such school in the Pacific Basin.

The Early Childhood Education program at Honolulu Community College is designed for people interested in working with young children. There are two different focuses for this program: Infants and Toddlers and Preschool age children. Both programs prepare students through class assignments and field experience (practicum), both on campus and in the community.
The Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology Program at Honolulu Community College. Honolulu CC serves as the State of Hawai'i's exclusive provider of college level training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology.
The Automotive Technology program at Honolulu Community College. The competencies the student is expected to achieve in the program are based on the tasks described by NATEF. Students will receive training in the following areas: automatic transmission/transaxle, brakes, electrical systems, engine performance, engine repair, heating and air conditioning, manual drive train and axles, and suspension and steering. The program has a Cooperative Education requirement.
